Everything you might need to know
We want to give you the very best experience when you visit Hjerting Badehotel. Below we have gathered all the most important and practical information about your stay at the beach hotel. Before booking
Extra bed
If you want an extra bed, this is possible in most of our rooms. Just contact our reception when you book and we will be happy to help.
The price is 500 per day, including breakfast.
Dog at the beach hotel
Dogs are allowed in selected rooms and in some of our guest houses. Please contact our reception if you wish to bring your dog.
Family room
At Hjerting Badehotel, we have one family room that sleeps four people in the new wing. In addition, you can book our guesthouses, which also sleep 4–6 people and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and coffee maker.
BEFORE ARRIVAL
LOOK IN
The front desk is open for check-in from 2:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. If you plan to arrive later than this, please let the front desk know. Rooms are available from 2:30 PM, but we are happy to welcome you before then.
If you need to check in early, please contact us so we can see if that’s possible on that particular day.
CHECK OUT
On the day of departure, check-out begins at 7:00 a.m. on weekdays and at 7:30 a.m. on weekends, and always no later than 11:00 a.m.
When booking one of our houses, however, check-out must take place no later than 10:00 a.m.
If you would like to check out later (at 1:00 p.m.), please contact our front desk with your request.
Cancellation
Should it become necessary, a stay can be canceled in writing no later than 12:00 noon the day before arrival. If the cancellation is made after this time, we will charge the full amount for the stay.
PLEASE NOTE Corporate agreements, booking of more than 4 rooms, and the houses have separate cancellation policies.
Table Reservation
The area around Badehotellet has limited dining options, so we recommend reserving a table well in advance. You can do this in our restaurant, or alternatively at one of the other places in the area.
DURING THE STAY
Parking space
Free of charge in the hotel parking areas. We have two Clever charging stations. Please bring your own chip, or alternatively we have chips available for hire for a fee.
After charging, please move your car to a regular parking space.
Breakfast
Always included when an overnight stay is booked. Breakfast is served between 7:00 - 10:00 in the restaurant.
Other facilities
The seaside hotel is enriched with an incredibly scenic surrounding area. We can provide you with bathrobes for a dip in the sea, maps of good running and hiking routes or self-guided tours, SUP boards and kayaks, bikes and more.
Badehotellet also has a sauna, which is shared with the local winter swimming club. Please ask us for advice if you would like other facilities associated with your stay with us.
