Traditionally, Midsummer is celebrated on the beach in front of Badehotellet with a big bonfire, bonfire speech and sing-along. A cozy tradition that we appreciate being a part of.
This year, we have selected dishes from our menu for a special midsummer menu. Dishes that we find suitable for the evening and spiced up with our new summer dessert with Danish strawberries. We recommend booking a table in advance.

The fire will be lit at 21:00, followed by a campfire speech.

FRIDAY BAR WITH music

We have successfully resumed the old tradition of a Friday bar in the hotel's new wine bar.

Enjoy the spring and the great atmosphere, with great prices on select wines and beverages at the bar.

The bar opens every Friday at 15:30, and on Fridays with live music, the band starts at 16:00.

On Fridays with live music, French oysters are served for only DKK 10 each in various varieties, directly from the bar.

Please note: Tables cannot be reserved for Friday bar. Due to high demand and popularity, we are unable to accommodate table reservations. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis, but we promise plenty of seating and standing room.

If you would like a table in the restaurant afterwards, it is a good idea to book here.

Winemakers' Dinner

Meet the man behind the wines – Rémy Gresser, “Mr. Terroir” from Andlau

In the small wine village of Andlau in Alsace, you’ll find one of the region’s most dedicated winemakers—Rémy Gresser, also known as“Mr. Terroir.”

He is based on the steep slopes around Andlau, where some of Alsace’s most distinctive Grand Cru vineyards form the foundation of his wines—includingWiebelsberg, Kastelberg, and Moenchberg. These vineyards feature vastly different soil types: from the warm, light-colored sandstone in Wiebelsberg, which produces elegant and aromatic wines, to the dark slate in Kastelberg, which yields more austere and mineral-driven Riesling wines with excellent aging potential. Moenchberg adds depth and complexity, rounding out his portfolio.

It is precisely this ability to let each vineyard express its unique terroir that lies at the heart of his philosophy—and that has made him a respected figure in Alsace.

Price per person: 1,400 DKK 

This includes seven different wines to accompany seven courses.

Wednesday pasta

Every Wednesday throughout winter and early spring, the high table in the kitchen is set for an evening of pasta, togetherness, and community.

A new pasta dish is served every week – simple, seasonal, and made with care.

There is room for 18 guests per
team, and the atmosphere is relaxed, informal, and full of everyday life.

We run two teams every Wednesday:
First team at 5:30 p.m.
Second team at 7:30 p.m.

TASTING TIME - FOR KIDS

Tickets go on sale on August 31, 2025.

At Hjerting Badehotel, we have reserved a very special room for the youngest members of the family this evening. Here we invite the children to an extraordinary restaurant experience - with the same atmosphere and process that the adults experience.

Children get to experience the joy of anticipation of being welcomed, being assigned a seat, greeting others at the table, having the food presented and tasting new ingredients, textures and dishes.

The menu is set in advance, so unfortunately we cannot make special dietary considerations.

There are 25 places and the target group is children from 5-15 years. Price per person: 180 kr. 

The adults can stay in the fireplace room if needed, while the children enjoy their own evening.

Our lunch restaurant is open as always - also on the last day of the year. Here you can enjoy a great à la carte lunch overlooking the water and feel the special atmosphere when guests meet, raise a glass and wish each other a happy new year.
